In the play Juliet is a thirteen-year girl who is the daughter of Capulet and Lady Capulet. She is a very obedient and sheltered child, but as time goes on she becomes courageous and independent.
Juliet is a beautiful young naive girl, who has been sheltered most of her life. Knowing little about love and marriage she is being pushed to marry Paris, a kinsman that her father picked for her. When Juliet meets Romeo her behavior changes and she becomes courageous and self assured, knowing that she wants to marry Romeo.
